Uche Ignites Comfortable Crystal Palace Win at Irish Side Shelbourne.
Despite embarking on their maiden European adventure, Crystal Palace are adapting very quickly. Without star figures like forward Jean-Philippe Mateta and defender Daniel Muñoz, the London club departed Dublin with a comfortable result that virtually secures them a place in the Europa Conference League qualifying rounds.
Another victory in their upcoming fixture against Finnish KuPS should be sufficient to seal direct passage to the knockout stages, especially after a previous setback against Strasbourg.
Squad Members Grasp the Opportunity
This occasion offered a chance for some of Palace's lesser-used players to shine. Christantus Uche, in only his second start since arriving on loan from Getafe, notched the account with a clinical finish. Striker Eddie Nketiah contributed a another, scoring for the second consecutive match.

Following the break, coach Oliver Glasner seized the opportunity to withdraw several individuals like Kamada and Wharton. Substitute Romain Esse came close to scoring his very first touch, but saw his shot blocked.
